Walking home through Duboce Park today, this skylight window in an attic caught my eye. The space looks both sunny and shadowed... a Victorian attic with the gloomy interest that comes with age and dubious old things packed away, but that is bright and open to the sky. The City has many old attics converted this way, and I love to catch a glimpse of them.
